Contact & Contribute

We practice privacy-respecting communication. No contact forms harvesting your data - just direct, encrypted channels.

Secure Contact Methods

SimpleX Chat (Preferred)

SimpleX has no user IDs - the most private messenger available.

1-on-1 Contact:

[SIMPLEX_CONTACT_LINK_HERE]

New to SimpleX? Get it here - it’s what we’d teach you anyway.

Matrix (Coming Soon)

We’re setting up a Matrix space for community discussion.

Room: #cypherpunkschool:matrix.org (coming soon)

Email (GPG Encrypted)

For those who prefer email - but please encrypt.

Email: [EMAIL_HERE]

GPG Fingerprint:

[GPG_FINGERPRINT_HERE]

Public Key: Download GPG Key (coming soon)

Unencrypted email is a postcard. If it’s worth writing, it’s worth encrypting.

Verify Our Identity

Before trusting any contact method, verify us cryptographically:

Ways to Contribute

ContributionHow
Report errorsFound a typo, broken link, or outdated command? Let us know via SimpleX or email

New contentWrite a lesson, translate existing content, create diagrams
Code contributionsScripts, tools, or site improvements

Contribution Guidelines

  1. Keep it practical - We teach by doing, not lecturing
  2. CLI-first - Command line examples, not GUI screenshots
  3. Privacy-respecting - No tracking scripts, no external dependencies
  4. Test your examples - Every command should work on a fresh Linux install
  5. Cite your sources - Link to documentation, give credit

For Larger Contributions

Planning something substantial? Reach out first via SimpleX to discuss:

  • New lesson proposals
  • Major content restructuring
  • Translations to other languages
  • Integration with other projects

Response Times

This is a side project, not a support desk. Expect:

  • SimpleX: Usually within a few days
  • Email: May take longer (check your spam for GPG-encrypted replies)
  • Urgent security issues: Mention “security” and we’ll prioritize

What We Won’t Help With

  • Illegal activities (we teach defense, not offense)
  • “Can you hack X for me?” (no)
  • Homework/certification cheating (learn it yourself)
  • Debugging your unrelated project (we’re not free consultants)
